The poet's promise

What brings me here?
Your presence
thy breath: scent of the rose
addictive as if some drug dose
its your elegance which I love,
an essence I would always preserve.
May I die, drowning in thy eyes?
yet somehow, I survive,
just to sink again next day!
Till the moment your hairs go grey!
would still romanticize you and only you
with blurry vision and a bent back,
yet you’ll be on the top of my priorities stack
I’ll plant the seed of love deep in my chest,
So it’ll grow older the way we will,
and with every tomorrow, I’ll love you more
You are my rock hills and my sandy shore!
No clue whether I’m worthy for you or not,
atleast I’ll love you with everything I’ve got.

So for this juggler who juggles with letters,
weaver who weaves the words,
Will you be the topic on which I’ll write,
the essence of love my heart will recite.
Someone whom I’ll care about,
for the day, night: everytime.
Will you be my partner in love’s rhyme?
