Melancholic Echoes of Love
The aching heart beats on
As the spring air bring new blossoms
O’ what is the use,
When the soul is deflagrated?
The anguish it holds,
Will the heart see love
In the roller coaster ride of life?
A love so precious,
Would it be found among the cosmic hues
Or in the spiritual entity,
In the humdrum of daily life?
Or in the folds of nature?
Or in the arms of the sweetheart?
A nameless entity, I call it
A sea of melancholia,
The pain of nostalgia
An intoxication of soma rasa of love;
Would it ever bring peace?
Inside the hollow frame
A dry heart beats
Awaiting in silence
And a shallow breath
Waiting for death.
